Music that gets the job done!

I’m a person that listens to a lot of music, although “lot” can mean two things. Alot of different artists, or a lot of the same music. In my case I do listen to alot of the same music over and over again, but I’m always interested in filling my iPod up with some new music.

Today I got an album from my friend Sofie. It was from the artistLykke Li, a talented Swedish girl. The music is just awesome, it’s so optimistic! The vocalist has a beautiful voice, it’s light as a feather and that combined with the simple yet sofisticated instrumentals it makes great music to listen to whenever you’re in need of some happy songs. I’m also a big fan of chill out/electronica. My friend Tor has given me some great advice in this genre. Check out Tycho, made by the great designer Telefon Tel Aviv. At the moment I’m listening to Hercules and Love Affair, a pretty new band from New York with help from the great singer from Anthony and the Johnsons. I’m only at Hercules Theme (track 2) at the moment, but it sounds good so far and without stating myself as a genre genius when it comes to music - I would call this dance music!

For those who haven’t heard yet - National Bank has just released their new album, Come on over to the other side. It sounds great, it’s experimental and Thomas Dybdahl is doing the vocal. Recommended!
